Introduction

Lara's Ark was brought together by the eruption of Taal Volcano in 2020, where they worked to save the animals who had been left behind.

About

Today, they rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome. Their vision is to be more than an animal shelter, but a sanctuary where animals can, in their own way, help rescue humans too.

New Beginnings

Our founder's rescues, Tallulah & Karma, are both from Lara's Ark original rescue operation in Taal. Today, they help us change perceptions on Aspins and adoption.

OUR INSPIRATION

The Original Peach

My grandmother's name is Peachy. If you know me, you probably know how close we are. I lived with her for the better part of my childhood, and today we live just a few houses away from each other. We have lunches and dinners together almost every day, surrounding ourselves with laughter and dogs.

This project is really dedicated to her. She passed down her deep love and appreciation for animals to me, and I'm so grateful to be reconnecting with that passion through Peachy Pet and my work with Lara's Ark today.
